Heatherton Park is a large park, but always very quiet. It has a great playground for children, and a great size area for the dogs to run around off-leash. The park is currently undergoing some maintenance works which are blocking access from the Heatherton Road side, but it is still accessible via Ireland Road off Westall Road.
The dog off-leash area boundary is along Heatherton Road, so you will want your dog to have good recall in case they get too close to the fence.
The drinking water fountain is located beside the playground.
